Quiet Luxury for the Modern Wrist

Our Story

A bridge between two worlds of watchmaking.

Founded & designed in London. Sourcing the best materials globally. Built for collectors who refuse to compromise.

Chapter One

The gap we noticed.

For a century, Swiss watchmaking has been the standard against which all timepieces are measured. The craftsmanship of the calibre. The refinement of the case. And, quietly but no less consequentially, the strap that held it to the wrist - the finest materials sourced globally, assembled by hand & delivered to you.

Then the world changed. The smartwatch arrived, and within a decade had taken its place on the wrists of millions - including, increasingly, the same collectors who knew exactly what a properly made strap should feel like.

But the straps that came in the box told a different story. Cheap silicone. Nylon. Mass-produced links. The watches themselves were marvels of engineering. The straps were simply an afterthought.

"We saw a bridge that needed building - between the timeless craftsmanship of traditional watchmaking, and the smartwatches now defining a new generation of collectors."

Chapter Two

The name carries two meanings.

The first. is the work itself. Every strap we make is a bridge - between the centuries-old discipline of watchmaking and the modern wrists it now serves. Between heritage and present. Between what was, and what's worn next.

The second is personal. Our founder is Oliver Groombridge - a name that, like many British surnames, carries its own quiet history. The Bridge is the seam of it: where his name lives, and where the brand began.

Chapter Three

What we make, and how.

Every Bridge strap is cut, assembled and finished in the same workshops that supply some of the most respected names in Swiss watchmaking. The leathers are sourced from European tanneries with century-long histories & the rubbers from some of the most exclusive Japanese suppliers. The finish is all by hand. The hardware is solid, never plated.

We make for a specific person - the collector whose Apple Watch sits in the same drawer as a vintage Rolex, and understands that there is a time and place for both. After all, you can't measure your fitness on a Submariner.

A modern watch deserves a strap with history.
