Strap Fitting Guide
Fitting your new Bridge strap takes less than a minute. Here's how.
Step 1 — Remove Your Existing Strap
Turn your Apple Watch face-down on a soft surface. Locate the small rectangular release button on the underside of each strap slot. Press and hold the button, then slide the strap outward to release it. Repeat for both the top and bottom straps.
Step 2 — Attach Your New Bridge Strap
Slide the new strap into the slot from the outside inward until you hear a click. The strap should lock firmly in place with no movement. If you don't hear a click, remove it and try again — a loose strap can be a safety risk.
Step 3 — Check the Fit
Give each strap a gentle tug to confirm it is secure. Attach the watch to your wrist and adjust the buckle or clasp — you should be able to fit one finger comfortably beneath the strap.
Which Size Do I Need?
Bridge straps are compatible with all Apple Watch models. Sizes refer to the watch case diameter:
- 38mm / 40mm / 41mm — the smaller case size, typically worn on slimmer wrists
- 42mm / 44mm / 45mm / 49mm — the larger case size, including Apple Watch Ultra
If you are unsure, the case size is engraved on the back of your Apple Watch.
Caring for Your Strap
- Leather straps — avoid prolonged exposure to water. Wipe dry after contact. Condition every few months with a quality leather conditioner.
- FKM Rubber straps — fully water resistant. Rinse with fresh water after exercise or sea water exposure and dry with a soft cloth.
- Silicone straps — wash with mild soap and warm water. Air dry.
